What is the difference between a leader (boss) and a manager? Blackaby puts it this way… A leader creates rules, regulations and operations that need to be done. Where as a manager takes those tasks and delegates them properly. Now… Lets look at Leaders and Managers in a spiritual sense…
God is the ultimate leader. He has rules that He has set up for us to do, laws to follow, etc. We are to manage our lives under His leadership. We follow the rules, we delegate accordingly, e.g. spreading the gospel, avoiding sinful behavior and the likes.
When we try to overpower God and step into his managerial sandals, things tend to get a bit dicy.
I guess what I am trying to say is…God is the ultimate employer and He is offering you the best job you could ever apply for and He hired you on the spot. Don't take advantage of the love that He has given you. Though His love will never run out, if you abuse it you're only going to hurt yourself.
