Starting off the month with a good, but sad message.
God, being our father has the authority and duty of punishing us for our sins, just as your earthly father would punish you for disobeying him. In doing so, God gives us reminders of the sin that we have committed so we might engrain it into our minds and try not to do it again. Keep in mind, God is not doing this as some sick game, but rather to teach us where we have gone wrong and how we are to correct it. Know also that God loved, loves and will always love you no matter what you do. We were made in His image and when we sin we tarnish His name and make mockeries of His glory.
God's reminders may seem harsh at the moment, but remember, they are learning blocks, stepping stones if you may, to lead to to a better christian life.
