Todays message is another one on prayer. Though it may seem like I/we have gone over this topic 100 times, it still gets me going. I love everything about prayer. I love the act of it, the symbolism behind it, the rewards and answers we reap from it and the respect that we give during it.
Prayer is an amazing way to communicate with God since we can't see Him face to face. We can and should go to God for everything, from the smallest question to the biggest praise and everything in between. A solid prayer life with God will change our outlook on life as well. You can't have a real prayer life with Jesus and still remain complacent and plain in your life. The more you pray, the more you become like Christ, which is how we were created in the first place.
Take some time to think about what is causing you not to pray…what is so important that you are too busy to pray. Remember, this is literally the most portable form of communication EVER… You don't need to worry about your phone battery dying, you don't need to worry about your friend being present to listen to what you're saying and you don't need to worry about postage to mail a letter… For those of you who don't know what a letter is, as your parents… I digress… Jesus is always there, always listening and always answering your prayers. You are NEVER apart from Him and He will never leave you.
