Well guys, I missed church today, so be on the look out for Todays message later on this week, when I get a chance to hear it. In the mean time, here is todays devotional.
When you become a Christian, you start to understand what it means to be pure of heart and why it is so important. God will always forgive you and relentless love you no matter what actions you take, good or bad. But as a Christian you begin to realize that the sins you commit are taking away from your intimacy with God. The more you sin, the further you stray from God, but as you get closer with God you start to see that even the smallest sin is utterly disgusting and you actually WANT to try and refrain from acting on them.
Please understand that there is no leveling up in Christianity. You can't be a level 47 Christian and gain some kind of super power. Either you are a Christian or you are not, and just because you are a Christian, doesn't mean you are perfect and don't sin. Everybody sins, it's how you react to the sin afterwards that makes the difference.
