Todays devotional talks about the dangers of being wrapped up in evil. i.e. sin
It is so difficult in todays society to avoid sin, impurity, immorality and the likes, but fortunately we have a Papa who loves us no matter what. However, we should not take that love for granted and assume we can get away with murder…or anything other form of sin for that matter.
While no one is perfect, it is best to try and avoid things/acts/people that tempt you to sin. So many of us think that we can get away with hanging out with "X" crowd because it won't affect us, "I'm stronger than that." and sometimes that is possible, but it's better to just try to avoid it in the first place. If you are already caught up in it and you know it's wrong, don't be ashamed to run away. In this particular case, running away can at least help, solve your problems.
When you are caught up in the darkness of temptation, take your woes to the Lord and run for the light. Remember light and darkness can not coexist, you have to chose which one you want to be in.
